Trashiest (yet most celebrated) lyrics/songs……..

………. Of the decade!

Emotional atyaachar - Dev D (2009)
If there’s one song that tops the ‘trashy lyrics of the decade’ list, it’s this one. The Presleys of Patna did get their mojo working! The bride dancing away to glory was quirky but fun.

Kajra reBunty aur Babli (2005)
A Bachchan family get-together, of sorts, Kajra Re went on to become a rage, winning all musical accolades for the year. (Trivia – Sushmita Sen was first considered for this song).

Bidi - Omkara (2006)
Gulzaar saab once said if there was ever an award for the ‘most trashy lyrics,’ he deserved it hands down. And rightly so! The almost-threatening-to-become-the-national-anthem hit came soon after his roaring success of Kajra re

Pappu Can't Dance - Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008)
Rado ki ghadi haatho mein, perfume Gucci vala, but pappu can’t …..and despite two left feet, Pappu managed to steal the 2008 spotlight.

Dard-e-disco - Om Shanti Om (2007)

I'm still trying to figure out what that means. If only someone could help.

Munni ‘bad’naam – Dabangg (2010)
And last but certainly not the least, the ever-so-popular, raunchy munni badnaam, which spawned a dozen copycats while making item numbers more mainstream than ever. Loved for its sheer senselessness and foot-tappable beats, the song lay amid controversy recently, courtesy Emami (for use of "Jhandu Baam"). @Emami – enjoy the publicity while it lasts ;)
