The Good Road (2013) on the Oscar way!

National Award winning-Gujarati film The Good Road grabs a spot in the 'Foreign Language Film' category at the Oscars, trumping The Lunchbox, Ship of Theseus, Celluloid, Shabdo, Viswaroopam, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Lucia and English Vinglish.

Here's what the Twitterati is saying:

Produced by NFDC and directed by debutant Gyan Correa, the film is about two children who lose their way in the Great Rann of Kutch.
3 Indian films, so far, have been nominated in this category: Mother India (1957), Salaam Bombay! (1989) and Lagaan (2002). But we've never won.

Will we do it this time? The trailer doesn't give away much but I'll reserve my judgement till I watch the film :)
